Waited over an hour for our order then poached eggs were solid and rest of breakfast was only warm. A very disappointing first visit.
The food in Cupcake cafe bar was first class and service from waitress was also first class. Only negative comment i can make is the heating. It is very cold and penguins would feel at home in the toilets.
Superb selection of cupcakes all made on the premises and a very good range of other food. It would be be easy to miss this caf. There is a large car parking area.
Lovely food as always! Couldn't resist a cupcake and a brownie to take away as well staff are always so polite, the garden is beautiful! The gardener is a joy to speak to!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!We were camping in the local area and were looking for a quick breakfast, coffee and somewhere to warm up, before heading back to Edinburgh. We saw the sign on the road and arrived with excitement and anticipation - we werent disappointed!!The staff, Yvonne and Chloe, were welcoming, friendly and super helpful. The food was excellent and we both left with some lovely homemade cupcakes.If you are looking for a welcoming, friendly, homely place, for some delicious homemade food - look no further!! Im already planning a trip to the local area, just to give me an excuse to return !!!
