Im giving it 4 stars because I thought it was great value for money. However, parking isn't great (or clearly marked) and there was no one on the door to guide/explain or take down names for any sort of security. Its a decent size and lots for the kids to play on, albeit pretty cold. The menu is decent for a good lunch and fairly quick service. The table situation is a shambles unless you can get a table when you arrive and then go and pay. Thankfully some like minded parents were gracious enough to offer up their table to us since we were standing waiting. We would go back as its not too far and a decent price and food.
Amazing little gem. My 2 year old loves this place. Owners very friendly and helpful. There is loads of things to do for the kids. I personally didn't eat there but my son had lunch there and he ate every bit! Lots to choose from too! We will definitely be back.
I went to bramble cottage with my 2 little girls for the first time last night and we all LOVED it!! The play equipment is challenging, fun, imaginative and inclusive. We went to their additional needs evening and were so impressed by the attention to detail and the love and care the owners have spent on building the play cafe over the short time they have been in business. Being a small business owner myself I know how much work and time this must have taken! The owners Jillian and Joanne were so lovely and good with my 2 wee ones. Especially Hannah my daughter with additional needs. They let her choose the music to play and she was so relaxed and happy. The food was fab too as was the coffee. I have read some reviews below about it being overpriced and I must say I never found that at all. I paid less than 20.00 which included entry for my 2 girls for over 2 hours, a good home cooked dinner for each of them plus drinks, a delicious huge omlette and a coffee for myself. I really couldnt fault any of it!
I had previously enjoyed a visit to Bramble Cottage. It was abit tired and run down but my nephew enjoyed the space. However I had heard a few rumours regarding the owners behaviour towards customers and staff. I have seen a few posts over the last few days and I have to say I'm speechless. I'm sure there will be some exaggerations on both sides but when you see the proof for your own eye left me shocked. One of the owners publicly goes onto a member of staff Facebook page and accuses her of stealing. Wither this is true or not surely the professionalism shown here is terrible. This post was later taken down. Staff not being paid on time, abusive behaviour towards staff. In this day this is not acceptable and I for one won't be back.
We hosted a private event 2-5 on for our sons 2nd birthday on Sunday. The staff have made it so easy, with brilliant communication and customer service. They were also so flexible in helping us arrange a great party. The venue is clean and has great facilities. The play areas were thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. We, our guests and most importantly our son had a brilliant time. Thanks to the staff for their hard work for making a day we will remember. We will be recommending this place to everyone!
