The most unwelcoming arragant man i have ever had the displeasure of meetingA party of 18 booked here for a meal only to be vebally abused by a stuck up little runt of a manager/server that seeks to think he owns the world.We left before even getting served due to his agressive attitude.I wont comment on food as never got any but i would avoid this place until a managemnt change has taken place

Came for a meal on aug 12th with friends the meal was excellent and staff friendly and helpful at short notice thanks again came for meal on aug 28th with Ca friend from down south the food was excellant 5 stars again and the staff was very helpful and thanks to the chefs Came for christmas meal with friends from Glasgow on sat dec 8th the meai was excellent and the staff were very helpful and good service and compliments to the chef and as usual easy to give 5 stars thanks fairway for a lovely evening chrissy and Athol Dodds
Went for early dinner with friends on Saturday night. Got shown to our very cramped table and our drinks order was taken. Drinks were brought and the waitress left without our food order being taken. We sat for a while and eventually my husband asked TWO members of staff if they could take our food order. Food when it came was delicious. Plates were eventually taken away but the offer of sweet menu or further drinks just did not happen. We sat without drinks for a while, waited on sweet menu but no-one came near us. We then asked for the bill and left. Very disappointing and won't be back.
Some of the best food I have eaten in Bathgate . 1912 need to take a leaf out of these guys book . The services wasn't to bad nice people bit slow / manic. The place needs a real good 21st century update bit old fashioned inside and out the toilet really need ripped out and update. Hope you guys spend a bit of money as this place could be fantastic.
